Delegation of Italian Companies Visits Libyan Ports Company

At the invitation of the Misurata Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, a delegation of Italian companies and institutions from Mantua Province, specializing in marine sector and port operations, visited the Libyan Ports Company’s General Administration this morning, Monday, December 9, 2024. They were warmly received by Mr. Muhammad Ali Hamidan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abdul Ati Bin Hamida, a Board Member, and several department and office directors.

Following the reception, a meeting was held in the main conference hall, attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, the General Manager, and various department directors from the Chamber. The discussion focused on potential collaboration between the Libyan Ports Company and the Italian firms in the areas of ports and marine services. Representatives from the Italian companies provided detailed explanations of their areas of expertise and specialization.

This meeting underscores the Libyan Ports Company’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and enhancing its capabilities in marine services and port management.
