A Libyan Company supervises and operates Libyan sea ports , also it provides marine services to such ports, was established in 1985, and started working in 1986

One of the biggest service companies supervised by the Ministry of Transport and communication, Started its work in June 1986, and was Established according to Law (21) 1985 passed by the General People’s Conference.

COMPANY TASKS 1- Management and operation of sea ports and their accessories, facilities, performing its normal and periodic maintenance as will as providing operation equipments and the means of transportation. 2- Guiding ships during arrival, departure and during movements inside the port ,and providing moorages , berthing and offering services needed for navigational channels.
3- Loading and unloading of goods (imported & exported ) and passing goods. 4- Raising of port charges and duties. 5- Cooperating along with the specialized boards to keep up the system and perform salvage services , civil protection and ambulance, etc. 6- working together with all parties and offices related to sea ports.
Operating tourist facilities in the ports. 7- Developing and Improving of work system in the ports and preparing technicians and workmen needed and giving advice and the necessary instructions. Our daily work hours are from 7:30 to 19:00 except for holidays, and argent conditions.
